Aliaxis has officially opened a brand-new Research & Technology Centre in Bangalore, India. The investment in this R&T Centre confirms Aliaxis’ ambition to further raise the bar in terms of innovation and to continue to develop a strong offering of innovative systems and solutions for water and energy management. The new centre joins the company’s existing facilities in Toronto (Canada) and Paris (France), driving Aliaxis’ R&D ambition to bring more innovation value to its customers.
“As a company driven by innovation and the ambition to be the clear global leader in plastic piping solutions, our new Research & Technology Centre in Bangalore represents a big step for Aliaxis,” says Tom Van Gyseghem, Chief Growth Officer. “We already have a strong offer of innovative systems and solutions as an exciting foundation on which to build, and with three dedicated research and technology centres, in Toronto, Paris and Bangalore, we also have the means to accelerate our innovation efforts.”
Dominique Neerinck, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer adds: “The team working in the new centre brings a wealth of experience from diverse industries to the table, which will no doubt facilitate the development of new technologies and cutting-edge innovation. We are well-positioned to develop and share best practices, expand innovations geared toward sustainability and ultimately bring value to customers in India and around the globe. Connecting with the Indian innovation ecosystem, including universities, technology institutes and start-ups, will contribute to realising this ambition.”
Beyond key activities such as developing new products and introducing new technologies, the centre will also conduct testing and validation procedures. As such, the Research & Technology Centre is sub-divided into multiple growth enabling categories, including Design & Engineering; Material & Bioengineering; Computational Analysis & Predictive Engineering; Testing & Validation; Digital & AI Technology; and Process Engineering.
